Magda Viylich is the wife of Anton Vyrlich and an instructor of young wizards, having learned the art herself as a young woman growing up in Yorvik.
As there are not many who could otherwise afford the cost of wizard training in a northern fishing village, Magda finds ways to make arrangements for those who show promise. Although she rarely has more than one or two students, those whom she does instruct are often able to earn admittance to the university in Yorvik.
When not keeping busy teaching or fulfilling her duties as the first lady of Hannsport, she loves nothing more than heading out into the woods to hunt with her family, Constable Dreng, and the ever reluctant Brother Markus.
She is much respected by the people of the village for her keen intellect and wise counsel, and is a valuable sounding board for her husband.
