Councilman Anton Vyrlich

Anton Vyrlich comes from an ambitious line of merchants originating in the southeastern corner of Northern Primordia. Finding some early business success in the northern capital of Yorvik, Vyrlich was the first to extend a successful trade rout up to Logash, and then to Hannsport, shortly after Lord Davin Kell had cleared the last of the goblin tribes from the Greatwood, some fifteen years ago.
In time, he settled permanently in the small community, and was among the first to petition the increasingly absent lord of the village to grant a charter that would a council to govern its day to day affairs. Vyrlich has served on the council ever since, and serves as de facto mayor. His wife, Magda, is one of his closest advisors.
It was Vyrlich who, five years prior, had hired Mamadou Dreng from among the candidates for Constable that applied after the death of his predecessor at the hands of a roving band of bugbears.
Vyrlich and Dreng have been close friends ever since. Being charismatic and a natural leader, Dreng has proved a good foil to Vyrlich's somewhat cool and appraising demeanor. Between them, the two have ably administered the village for years.
Now if he could only get Markus to give up the celibate life and agree to a marriage to one of his daughters...
